59' Welbeck has taken his place on the left wing for Watford while Hughes has dropped deep into midfield. Meanwhile, Giroud has a routine shot from the centre of the box saved by Foster.
57' Chelsea come on the attack again and Watford crowd out Barkley on the edge of their box. It looks like Watford are preparing a change.
55' Chelsea are starting to ramp up again. Pulisic fires a low cross into the Watford box and Dawson is forced to put it out for a Chelsea corner. Foster catches Willian's ball in with ease.
54' Willian darts inside and looks to slide Giroud one-on-one with Foster. Foster's alert to the trick though and races out before Giroud can get there.
52' Hughes' flick for Watford doesn't pay off and the visitors are forced back to camping in their own half. This'll be a long half for Watford if they can't put more of a stamp on this game.
50' Willian uses James as a decoy to feed Mount who's making a nice run into the box. Mount can't keep his balance though. Seconds later, Mount and Willian attempt a one-two but Mount's pass has too much weight on it. Chelsea are looking fresh and full of ideas.
48' Kabasele lofts a direct pass forward for Doucoure but James is first to the header. Watford aren't enjoying much time on the ball at all here.
46' Chelsea immediately pick up where they left off. Pulisic jinks inside from the left and blasts an effort over the crossbar. The 21-year-old American's got a bright future ahead of him.
45' Chelsea get the second half going. No changes by either side at half-time.
Willian's enjoying his best-ever Premier League campaign in what might be his last - he's on nine goals and five assists now. Chelsea have conceded 29 of their 44 goals against this season in the second half though. Can Watford count on Chelsea switching off?
That was an easy 45 minutes for Chelsea. Watford don't look particularly ambitious and the Blues haven't taken too long to make their dominance count. Pulisic and Willian have both been lively. Watford need to find Deeney more if they're going to salvage a result.
45' + 3' HALF-TIME: CHELSEA 2-0 WATFORD
45' + 3' Pulisic's dribbling is causing Watford plenty of problems. They might need to come up with a plan to deal with him before the restart.
45' + 1' There'll be three added minutes in this half, which Chelsea won't want to end. Some neat Chelsea interplay around Watford's box ends as Capoue is fouled by Mount.
45' Watford will have a real job getting back into this now. They're trying though as they win a corner off Azpilicueta. Dawson gets his head on the end of it but it's a tame effort. Kepa's not concerned.
42' PENALTY FOR CHELSEA! It's clear as day, and totally unnecessary. Capoue body-checks Pulisic right near the byline when he's got plenty of support around him.
41' This time the free-kick is from further away and it's Mount who takes it. Mount's effort is neutralised by the wall and Foster's out to grab it. There's a hint of an arm but not enough for a penalty.
40' Foster comes out to punch away a James cross. Watford concede yet another free-kick as Deeney shoves Kante in the back. It's a typically awkward forward's challenge.
39' Chelsea win a corner down their right. Willian sends it in and Capoue nods it away just as Azpilicueta is closing in. Watford need to stay in this match with half-time approaching. A second Chelsea goal now would leave them a lot to do.
37' Up the other end, Chelsea have another free-kick as Kabasele fouls Giroud. Willian strikes it - it's a decent attempt but the wall does its job.
36' Watford's corner is no great shakes. Watford will be disappointed at that as set-pieces have been a weak point of Chelsea's this season.
34' Sarr fizzes in a wicked low cross that James knocks safely out for a Watford corner. It was best to take a safety-first approach as Hughes was lurking nearby.
32' Watford don't look too demotivated by the goal. Sarr tries to twist his way down the right but is soon blocked off. The winger's not really had a chance to take on Azpilicueta yet.
30' Chelsea don't dally in looking for a second goal. Azpilicueta whips a cross into the penalty area but Pulisic can't keep the header down. It's an easy claim for Foster.
29' That Giroud goal is his fourth in his last seven Premier League games, and his third in his last four starts in all competitions. The Frenchman's coming into form at just the right time for Chelsea.
27' Kepa gets things going again. Chelsea are having to work hard at the moment. They're being somewhat frustrated by Watford's compact defensive shape.
25' Chalobah's free-kick goes straight into the stand behind the goal. It's a poor effort and Pearson flaps his arms in frustration. There's a brief pause as the players take a now customary water break.
24' Chelsea circulate the ball without really getting anywhere. Capoue makes it his and finds Hughes with a pass forward. Hughes wings it in for the arriving Deeney and Capoue is tripped by Mount just outside the box. Watford free-kick.
22' Willian stands over the free-kick which is in a central position about 25 yards out. The Brazilian sends his effort into the wall and Barkley misses the follow-up. Watford clear.
20' Chalobah carries the ball forward when Deeney finds him with a little knockdown. Chelsea's defenders soon swoop in to smother the chance though.
19' Chance for Chelsea! Watford's captain Deeney smarts after taking an innocuous bang in the back from Zouma. Play continues and Pulisic finds Giroud whose shot is saved by the trailing leg of Foster! Watford get a free-kick shortly after.
17' James has time and space to pick a cross into Watford's box and plumps for a dipping effort with three Chelsea players lurking. The right-back can't find any of them though and Foster comes out to claim it. Chelsea are on the front foot but Watford are holding their own so far.
15' A promising Watford attack down the left breaks down and Chelsea counter down that side. Willian's shot has the sting taken out of it by a Dawson deflection and it loops into the hands of Foster.
14' Watford are sitting extremely deep, almost inviting Chelsea to come onto them. James tries to slide Willian through but Femenia has it covered.
12' Hughes wins a free-kick down the left for Watford as he's brought down by James. Hughes lofts it in and Chelsea half-clear it. Dawson drags an optimistic shot wide from distance shortly after.
11' Chelsea have had 78% possession of the ball in the opening 10 minutes. You suspect it'll stay that way for much of this game.
10' Christensen almost plays himself into trouble in his own area with Kepa out of position but manages to get the ball away. Pulisic finds Giroud in the left channel with a cute pass but Giroud can't find the final ball to Willian. Pulisic is looking lively already.
9' Willian pulls the corner back to Mount. The young English midfielder tries to float the ball into the area but it sails harmlessly out for a Watford goal-kick.
8' Pulisic dances through the centre of the pitch and slides in Mount whose cross is blocked. Chelsea get their first corner of the game down their left.
6' Barkley feeds Willian who's in space down the right. Willian shimmies onto his left foot and crosses into the box. Dawson - a survivor of Watford's previous game - heads it away.
4' After the referee steps in to have a chat with Azpilicueta and Barkley standing in Watford's wall, Giroud races forward to strike the free-kick. It hits the wall and Giroud's follow-up is harmlessly into the ground.
2' Chelsea go on the attack straight away. Barkley looks to skip into the box and is unfairly checked by Capoue. The home side have an early free-kick in a promising position.
1' Everyone takes the knee before Watford get this game underway!
The two sides are out on the Stamford Bridge pitch now. Chelsea are wearing their brand spanking new blue home kit while Watford will play in their usual yellow and black.

Watford's post-lockdown form is a cause of concern for them with the Hornets still in the thick of a relegation dogfight. Nigel Pearson's team have yet to win since the Premier League returned. Their fans will be hoping for a return to the form that saw them defeat champions Liverpool earlier in the season.
Chelsea's late defeat by West Ham midweek confirmed them as the current entertainers of the Premier League. With the Blues' Champions League place not yet secure, Frank Lampard will want to instill his team with more of a ruthless streak in their remaining games.
