LIVE: AC Milan vs Torino

30' OVER! Huge chance for Milan! There's a mix-up at the back for Torino as not everyone steps up to play offside and Ibrahimovic takes advantage, timing his run in behind to perfection and controlling the ball over the top, but he lashes over from inside the box!

25' SAVE! Milan want a penalty for a push on Diaz but the referee shakes his head and Torino spring a counter! Bremer pings it forward for Zaza, but Musacchio forces him wide and the eventual shot is from a tight angle and Tatarusanu holds on!

23' Torino are brave in their persistence with playing out from the back and they manage to weave the ball past the Milan press before drawing a foul in the attacking half.

21' Vojvoda whips an enticing cross into the middle from the right, but Zaza can't quite get his head on it and Milan hack clear.

19' CHANCE! Milinkovic-Savic tries to play out from the back but is closed down by Leao, who blocks the pass and it deflects up into the air! The goalkeeper fumbles it as it drops, but the referee blows for a very soft foul to spare the shot-stopper's blushes!

17' Milan are regularly working the ball into wide areas and looking to craft shooting chances from there, but Torino have dealt with the threat relatively comfortably to this point.

15' Torino have started the game strongly - they're snapping into challenges and asking questions of the hosts. Milan have been a little sluggish so far.

13' Torino win a free-kick and then a corner and have a rare chance to load the box, but they can't take advantage on either occasion as Rincon eventually blasts high and wide from the edge of the area.

10' Torino have held their ground well in the opening stages of the game. No doubt Giampaolo will have demanded a better showing, particularly in the first half, from his men this time around.

8' Zaza receives the ball in space just outside the box and he takes the shot on, but he gets it all wrong and lashes well wide of the target.

6' Milan have found space down the right as they look to cross towards the colossal frame of Ibrahimovic, but the delivery hasn't been accurate enough just yet.

4' The ball is floated in towards the head of Ibrahimovic in the box by Castillejo on the right, but Milinkovic-Savic is out quickly to hold the cross.

1' We're under way in Milan!

However, Torino were unbeaten in the six meetings across all competitions preceding their recent run of three losses (W2 D4), conceding just four goals in that spell.

Milan have won each of their last three meetings in all competitions with Torino, scoring seven and conceding just twice in that run.

Torino boss Marco Giampaolo, meanwhile, makes nine changes from Saturday's game, retaining only Rincon and Bremer from those that started in the league defeat as he looks for an improved performance in the cup.

Milan coach Stefano Pioli makes five changes to the team that started against Torino last time out. Tatarusanu, Musacchio, Kalulu, Dalot and Ibrahimovic all come into the side, while Gianluigi Donnarumma, Hernandez, Kessie and Hauge drop to the bench, with Simon Kjaer missing out altogether.

Torino substitutes: Lyanco, Nicola Murru, Wilfried Stephane Singo, Armando Izzo, Sasa Lukic, Simone Verdi, Andrea Belotti, Samir Ujkani, Antonio Rosati, Daniele Baselli, Ricardo Rodriguez.

Torino XI (3-5-1-1): Vanja Milinkovic-Savic; Bremer, Nicolas Nkoulou, Alessandro Buongiorno; Mergim Vojvoda, Jacopo Segre, Tomas Rincon, Karol Linetty, Cristian Ansaldi; Amer Gojak; Simone Zaza.

Milan substitutes: Nikos Michelis, Theo Hernandez, Antonio Donnarumma, Giacomo Olzer, Antonio Mionic, Lorenzo Colombo, Jens Hauge, Franck Kessie, Andrea Conti, Hakan Calhanoglu, Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Ciprian Tatarusanu; Pierre Kalulu Kyatengwa, Mateo Musacchio, Alessio Romagnoli, Diogo Dalot; Davide Calabria, Sandro Tonali; Samu Castillejo, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao; Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Serie A leaders Milan will feel confident of progressing to the quarter-finals as they host relegation-threatened Torino for the second time in the space of just four days, having beaten them 2-0 in the league on Saturday.
