LIVE: Arsenal vs Liverpool

46' The second half is under way!

Klopp looked stunned on the sidelines, his Liverpool side have been the stronger side and should be able to push on after the break and re-take the lead, as the Arsenal defence don't look particularly comfortable.

Liverpool will be wondering how they are going into half-time losing, after dominating the opening half, but handing Arsenal two goals with sloppy errors at the back. The visitors took the lead, after Robertson fed Mane and he slotted home. However, Van Dijk made a rare mistake and handed the ball straight to Lacazette in the box, who rounded Alisson and equalised. The Gunners were then gifted another goal just before the break, with the mistake this time coming from Alisson, with a poor ball out from the back, that Lacazette latched onto, before feeding Nelson, who finished well.

45' + 2' HALF-TIME: ARSENAL 2-1 LIVERPOOL

45' Good effort! Oxlade-Chamberlain with a powerful strike towards the Arsenal goal, but it is too close to Martinez, who makes a comfortable save.

42' Salah has a shot blocked inside the Arsenal box, after Holding loses the ball around 30 yards out and Liverpool bounce, but the effort is well blocked by David Luiz.

40' Robertson has seen a lot of the ball down the left-hand side of the pitch, there has been a lot of space down that wing and his delivery into the box has been good, with Cedric having to do a lot of defending.

38' There's not long left to play at the Emirates before the end of the first half now, can either side take the lead before the half-time whistle?

36' Mane has been directly involved in 24 goals in the Premier League this season (17 goals, 7 assists), his best return in a single Premier League season.

34' Apart from the goal, that is the first time Arsenal have really been in the Liverpool final third, with the visitors looking comfortable, but a mistake has handed Arsenal a way back into the game.

31' This is better from Arsenal, they are trying to play the ball in-behind the Liverpool defence much quicker, with Lacazette trying to use his pace, however, his latest run is well offside.

29' We're midway through the first half now and Arsenal are yet to test the Liverpool defence, with the Gunners struggling to break into the visitors half of the pitch. The likes of Pepe and Saka have barely touched the ball.

27' Not too far away! Salah is just inches away from a cross into the box from the right wing, just a bit further forward and he would've poked that towards the Arsenal goal.

26' We have the first drinks break of the game, with both teams taking on some instructions from the bench as well. Arsenal are yet to get going, with their attacking front three hardly touching the ball.

24' Since the restart, Liverpool have failed to win three of their six Premier League matches (W3 D2 L1) – the Reds had only failed to win two of their previous 38 in the competition (W36 D1 L1).

22' Almost a good chance for Arsenal! Nelson is released in-behind the Liverpool defence, he races through on goal from out wide and then tries to pull the ball back to Lacazette, but his pass is poor and Liverpool clear the danger. It looked like the winger was offside anyway when he initially raced through.

18' Apart from the Firmino chance a few minutes ago, that has been the only real opportunity to open the scoring here. Alisson has been a spectator in the Liverpool goal so far.

16' Torreira is lucky to get away with just a warning after he handles the ball in the air, after thinking his side should have a free-kick, but nothing was given. The midfielder then also kicks the ball away in frustration.

14' Arsenal just can't seem to string more then a couple of passes together at the moment, as Liverpool are pressing high and very quickly, stopping Arsenal from getting any possession going.

12' CHANCE! So unlucky for Firmino! Martinez takes too long with a kick out from the back and Firmino chases him down and blocks the clearance, which then rebounds and strikes the outside of the post and bounces out of play. Poor from the Arsenal keeper, he almost handed Liverpool the opener then.

12' Robertson whips a free-kick into the penalty area, but it's too close to Martinez and the keeper comfortably catches the ball in the air.

11' Liverpool are dominating possession at the moment, they have Arsenal penned back inside their own half and they look good in the final third. They have a free-kick now around 35 yards out, after Holding dives into the back of Mane.

9' Arsenal are winless in their last nine Premier League meetings with Liverpool (D4 L5) since a 4-1 victory at the Emirates in April 2015.

7' Liverpool try and break forward quickly on the counter following an Arsenal corner, with Oxlade-Chamberlain on the ball, but his team-mates run past him and he runs out of options and has to play the ball backwards, with Arsenal eventually winning it back.

5' It looks like Arsenal are playing a five man defence when Liverpool have the ball and they are defending, with Cedric and Tierney both sitting deep and making it much tighter and more difficult for Liverpool to get the ball in-behind.

3' The pace of the game is quite slow early on, neither side have been able to get the ball down and muster an attack in the opening stages of the match.

1' We're under way!

The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all of the match action!

Meanwhile Liverpool have made just two changes to their side, with Williams and Jones missing out and they have been replaced by Alexander-Arnold and Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Arsenal have made five changes to the side that lost against Spurs, as they have an FA Cup semi-final on Saturday against Manchester City. Mustafi, Kolasinac, Bellerin, Ceballos and Aubameyang all dropping out and they have been replaced by Holding, Cedric, Torreira, Saka and Nelson in the starting XI.

LIVERPOOL SUBS: Adrian, Dejan Lovren, Neco Williams, Naby Keita, Takumi Minamino, Xherdan Shaqiri, Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Divock Origi.

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson; Fabinho, Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain; Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino.

ARSENAL SUBS: Hector Bellerin, Sokratis, Dani Ceballos, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Shkodran Mustafi, Joseph Willock, Saed Kolasinac, Matt Macey.

Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw with Burnley at the weekend, after two wins in a row to bounce back from their 4-0 defeat against Manchester City. The Champions are only seven points shy of the 100 point mark at the top of the table, if they win all of their three remaining games then they would break Manchester City's record of two seasons ago.

After four wins on the bounce, Arsenal are now two games without a victory, having drawn 1-1 at home against Leicester City and then lost 2-1 against Tottenham at the weekend, to leave them trailing their rivals in their bid to qualify for Europe this season. The Gunners are currently 9th in the table, five points behind fifth-placed Wolves.
