LIVE: Barcelona vs PSG

39' Mbappe powers down the left and earns a corner off Dest. There are few players you want to run at you less than the World Cup winner.

38' Kean goes straight for goal and forces ter Stegen to tip his snatched effort out for a corner. Again Barca handle it, but there's no let-up here at all. This game has lit up now.

36' Pique clears the corner and the Barca break is on! Griezmann races into the penalty area and drills the ball towards the bottom right corner. It's inches away from going in and PSG are glad to see it go out of play.

34' It's end-to-end at the moment! Kurzawa is in space in the box and drags a shot just wide of the right-hand post. ter Stegen gets a vital touch. It'll be a PSG corner.

30' Messi's penalty was his 20th goal of the season for Barcelona in all competitions. It's the 13th consecutive campaign he's scored 20 or more goals for the club. The longevity and consistency of Messi's Barca career has been astounding.

29' Barca almost make it 2-0 straight away! PSG's defence parts like the Red Sea and Dembele gets a free shot in the penalty area from Messi. Dembele doesn't set himself though and fires a tame effort straight at Navas.

26' PENALTY TO BARCELONA! Messi comes deep and searches for de Jong with an over-the-top ball. de Jong goes down in the box with Kurzawa making accidental contact. The referee has no hesitation - he points to the spot!

25' Mbappe takes a tumble just in front of PSG's box. The referee isn't interested. Gueye rushes in and gives away a foul. The midfielder's got to be careful. He's got to last the rest of the game on a yellow card.

23' Paredes fires in the free-kick but can't find a PSG head. It's hard to tell which side is going to draw first blood here. Both have had their moments.

22' Mbappe jinks down the left and fires in a cross which Barca head away. The Frenchman gets the ball back shortly after and Barca's young American full-back Dest trips him up. PSG now have a nice-looking free-kick.

21' PSG manage to handle Messi's free-kick, intercepting Dembele and Pedri's instinctive shots. Verratti takes a risk by sliding in his own box to steal the ball from Griezmann. It's an excellent tackle.

18' Chance for PSG! Mbappe has a huge amount of space to pick out a pass for Icardi. Icardi's one-on-one with ter Stegen but can only trickle a feeble shot towards goal. Barca manage to block and scramble it out for an inconsequential PSG corner. Icardi should have done better.

16' Kurzawa comes in late on de Jong and gives away an obvious free-kick near the touchline. The referee waves away a few players expressing their opinion and gives a warning to the PSG left-back.

14' Chance for Barca! Messi wriggles forward from deep again to slide in Griezmann to the left of the box. Griezmann takes a touch and tries to shoot low at the near post. Navas quickly closes down the angle and makes the block. Barca get a corner which PSG clear.

13' It feels as though PSG have had a lot of possession so far, an unusual amount for an away side at Camp Nou. It's only 48 per cent but that's an achievement away to Barca.

12' Paredes plays the corner towards the near post. Griezmann comfortably heads it away.

10' Kean makes a good run down the right after Gueye dispossesses the dawdling Pedri. The Italian wins PSG the first corner of the game.

8' Gueye passes down the line looking for Kean but Lenglet positions himself well to cut it out. Up the other end, Messi drops deep to find Pedri. Florenzi is soon there to shut the door.

6' Kean receives a spot of treatment after going down following a clash of heads. Thankfully PSG's young striker, playing wide right here, looks good to continue.

5' Navas booms a pass forward from the back and Barca win the second ball. Dembele picks up possession out wide and cuts inside onto his left foot. His speculative shot ifrom range is blocked.

4' PSG have started the better in these opening minutes. Gueye tries his luck from distance and fires wide.

2' Barca find themselves under pressure early on as Verratti floats a ball over the top for Mbappe to chase. Mbappe has Pique beaten for pace but thankfully for Barca their goalkeeper ter Stegen rushes out to sweep up.

1' PSG get this round of 16 tie underway!

Barca and PSG are out on the Camp Nou pitch now. The two captains Messi and Marquinhos exchange pleasantries, while Koeman and Pochettino share a warm embrace.

Barca and PSG have met each other eight times in the Champions League since 2012/13, with those eight games producing 32 goals, an average of four a match. Barca have won all of the pair's last three Champions League knockout ties and have lost just one of their last 33 home games in the knockout phase. Can Pochettino's PSG get an away goal or two to take back to France?

Barca make five changes from their 5-1 win over Deportivo Alaves three days ago as Koeman reverts to his first-choice 11. 18-year-old Pedri becomes the second-youngest player to start a Champions League knockout tie for Barcelona after Bojan. PSG only change two players from their weekend victory over Nice. Fit-again Verratti starts, while Florenzi replaces Kehrer at right-back.

PSG are arguably the stronger force these days having narrowly lost the final of this competition last season. While Barca are looking to make it to the Champions League quarter-finals for a 14th consecutive season, then, Ronald Koeman's team will have to be at their best to overcome Mauricio Pochettino's PSG side. Let's do this!

Barcelona will remember the last time they met PSG in the Champions League round of 16 very well. Four years ago Barca overturned a 4-0 first-leg defeat with a 6-1 victory to become the first - and so far only - side to qualify with the next round after losing the first leg by four or more goals. It's a memory PSG would no doubt prefer to forget.
