LIVE: Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund

7' Sane raids down the right flank and cuts back on his left foot to whip a cross into the box. Lewandowski has to stretch to connect with a header, but his effort is tame and gathered by Hitz.

6' Reus works a pass to Haaland in the final third and he tries to turn away from three red shirts, but Goretzka gets back at him to win possession.

4' Coman whips a ball into the Dortmund box from the left flank, but Hitz comes through a crowd of players to punch clear. He collides with Goretzka in the process and wins a free-kick for the visitors.

1' We're underway at Allianz Arena.

Borussia Dortmund have lost their last four Bundesliga games against FC Bayern, something that has only ever previously happened to BVB from 1968 to 1970 (5 defeats in a row vs. FCB back then).

Dortmund are without both Jadon Sancho and Raphael Guerreiro for the contest. Both players sustained injuries in the DFB-Pokal win over Borussia Monchengladbach during the week. There are four changes in total for Dortmund as Meunier, Schulz and Zagadou come into the back four. Bellingham and Morey drop to the bench. Hazard gets the start in place of the injured Sancho.

Bayern have made two changes to their side that beat Koln last time out. Muller and Coman return to the line in place of Musiala and Choupo-Moting, who both drop to the bench this evening. Sule continues to operate at right-back for Flick's side.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND SUBS: Roman Burki, Mateu Morey, Youssoufa Moukoko, Julian Brandt, Reinier, Jude Bellingham, Lukasz Piszczek, Steffen Tigges, Felix Passlack.

BORUSSIA DORTMUND (4-2-3-1): Marwin Hitz; Thomas Meunier, Mats Hummels, Dan-Axel Zagadou, Nico Schulz; Emre Can, Thomas Delaney; Marco Reus, Mahoud Dahoud, Thorgan Hazard; Erling Haaland.

BAYERN SUBS: Serge Gnabry, Javi Martinez, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Bouna Sarr, Lucas Hernandez, Marc Roca, Tiago Dantas, Ron-Thorben Hoffmann, Jamal Musiala.

BAYERN (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Niklas Sule, Jerome Boateng, David Alaba, Alphonso Davies; Leon Goretzka, Joshua Kimmich; Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman; Robert Lewandowski.

Dortmund enter the contest in good form, having reeled off four wins on the bounce in all competitions. Die Schwarzgelben need a win to get back into contention for a top-four finish, with the club currently sitting in sixth place and four points behind fourth-place Eintracht Frankfurt. Edin Terzic's men are winless in their last four matches against Bayern, and will need a special effort tonight to win Der Klassiker on the road.

Bayern crushed Koln last time out by a 5-1 margin to get their charge for the title back on course. Hansi Flick's men had endured a difficult couple of games by their standards, drawing 3-3 against Arminia Bielefeld and losing 2-1 on the road to Eintracht Frankfurt. However, they begin the evening one point behind RB Leipzig at the top and will be looking to reclaim their spot on the Bundesliga summit.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund at Allianz Arena.
