LIVE: Brighton vs Tottenham

3' OFF THE POST! Brighton come inches away from taking the lead. Maupay turns and offloads to Mac Allister in the box. He works a pass in tight quarters towards Gross. The German strikes an effort with the outside of his right boot, but the ball hits the post and bounces away from goal.

2' Bergwijn leads a break up the field down the left flank and feeds Son. The South Korean tries to pick out Bale on the right flank, but misplaces his offload out for a throw-in.

1' We're underway at the Amex Stadium.

Brighton and Hove Albion have lost five of their seven Premier League matches against Spurs (W1 D1), with their only win coming at the Amex Stadium last season.

Spurs are without Kane due to his ankle injury sustained against Liverpool. The England captain is one of four changes that Mourinho has made to the side that started against Liverpool. Bale replaces Kane in the final third, while Sanchez and Alderweireld return to the backline. Doherty, Dier and Aurier make way as Sissoko gets the nod to start at right wing-back. Spurs' 16-year-old starlet Devine features on the bench for the first time in a Premier League game.

Brighton are unchanged from their side that drew 0-0 against Fulham. Maupay continues to lead the line with Trossard. Potter starts with March and Veltman in the wing-back positions. Webster, White and Dunk have been solid of late and will look to defy Spurs this evening aiming to keep a third clean sheet on the bounce.

TOTTENHAM SUBS: Matt Doherty, Harry Winks, Erik Lamela, Joe Hart, Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga, Lucas Moura, Carlos Vinicius, Alfie Devine.

TOTTENHAM (3-4-3): Hugo Lloris; Joe Rodon, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez; Moussa Sissoko, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Tanguy Ndombele, Ben Davies; Gareth Bale, Steven Bergwijn, Son Heung-min.

BRIGHTON SUBS: Aaron Connolly, Adam Lallana, Jakub Moder, Steven Alzate, Jose Izquierdo, Percy Tau, Andi Zeqiri, Christian Walton, Dan Burn.

BRIGHTON (3-5-2): Robert Sanchez; Ben White, Lewis Dunk, Adam Webster; Joel Veltman, Pascal Gross, Yves Bissouma, Alexis Mac Allister, Solly March; Neal Maupay, Leandro Trossard.

Tottenham's inconsistent form has seen them fallen off the pace in the Premier League title race and are now battling for a place in the top four. Jose Mourinho and his men were well beaten by Liverpool last time out, suffering a 3-1 defeat on home soil. Spurs need to muster a response from their disappointing result, although the absence of Harry Kane will make life difficult this evening.

Brighton have strung together two valuable results over the last two weeks to distance themselves from the relegation zone in the Premier League. The Seagulls are four points clear of the drop zone, but their win over Leeds United and goalless draw against Fulham last time out has edged them away from danger for now. However, Graham Potter and his men cannot afford to rest on their laurels and need a strong outing tonight.

Good evening and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Brighton and Hove Albion and Tottenham at the Amex Stadium.
