20' Millvojevic floats a dangerous cross into the box for the home side. It pinballs dangerously around the penalty area before Henderson is finally able to hook it clear of danger.

19' Palace are edging their way back into the contest. Ayew draws a foul from Fabinho to win a free-kick in the Liverpool half.

17' SAVE! Alisson is alert to clear ahead of Zaha on the slide, but the ball travels straight to Milivojevic. The Palace skipper goes for goal with the keeper off his line, but the Brazilian gets back in time to catch the ball.

15' Mane wins the ball in the Palace half, but he gets crowded out before he can combine with Firmino.

13' Eze floats his corner into the box, but Cahill is penalised for a foul on Mane in the Liverpool box.

12' Zaha collects a precise offload down the left flank from Milivojevic. The forward fires a dangerous low ball across the face of goal that Fabinho has to send behind away from the lurking presence of Ayew.

11' Alexander-Arnold tries to combine with Firmino in the right inside channel, but he loses out to Van Aanholt. Zaha draws a foul from Fabinho to move Palace up the pitch.

10' Minamino is the seventh Japanese player to score in the Premier League, after Junichi Inamoto, Hidetoshi Nakata, Shinja Kagawa, Maya Yoshida, Shinji Okazaki and Yoshinori Muto.

9' Schlupp wins possession and charges forward into the Liverpool half. He tries to thread the needle to release Zaha, but Matip diverts it behind for a corner.

1' We're underway at Selhurst Park.

Liverpool have won each of their last five Premier League away games against Crystal Palace – only against Norwich (7, ongoing) and Aston Villa (6, 2011-2019) have they won more consecutively on the road in the competition.

Liverpool have made three changes to their side from their win over Spurs. Salah and Jones are rested, dropping to the bench this afternoon. Minamino replaces the Egyptian in the final third, while Keita slots into the middle of the park. Matip returns to the line-up in the back four to replace Williams, who drops to the bench.

Palace have made four changes to their side from their draw with West Ham. Benteke is suspended and is replaced by Ayew in the final third. Clyne gets a start at right-back against his former team to replace Ward, while Dann drops to the bench for Cahill. Schlupp starts on the right wing ahead of Townsend, who also starts on the bench for the home side.

LIVERPOOL SUBS: Mohamed Salah, Adrian, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Curtis Jones, Divock Origi, Rhys Williams, Nathaniel Phillips, Caoimhin Kelleher, Neco Williams.

LIVERPOOL (4-3-3): Alisson; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Fabinho, Andy Robertson; Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita; Takumi Minamino, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.

Roberto Firmino's stoppage-time header lifted Liverpool to a late victory over Tottenham last time out and back to the top of the Premier League. The Reds were not at their best at Anfield, but managed to secure the three points. They now have the opportunity to put the pressure on their title rivals by extending their lead at the summit. Despite suffering a litany of injuries, Jurgen Klopp's men are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, highlighting the depth of their squad.

Palace enter the contest unbeaten in their last three matches. Roy Hodgson's men hammered West Brom 5-1 on the road before holding Tottenham to a draw on home soil. The Eagles were pegged back by West Ham after Christian Benteke's opener last time out, and were forced to hang on for the final 20 minutes of the game after the Belgian was dismissed. Palace have incentive this afternoon as a victory over the Reds would lift them into the top half of the Premier League.

Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Crystal Palace and Liverpool at Selhurst Park.
