37' Barca look to recover quickly after a shaky last few minutes. Messi takes aim from outside the box but a defender is in the way.
35' Barca need to be careful! Araujo is far too lax in receiving a pass and Kenedy darts in, robbing the Uruguayan. Kenedy eventually reaches the box and screeches a low shot wide of the far post.
31' Granada will be glad to have made it through the first half hour of this game unscathed but they've still created very little. Kenedy chests a high ball down and takes it inside but the Chelsea loanee is offside.
27' Messi cuts in from the right and dinks a cross towards the far post that Soro heads out for another Barca corner. Pedri works it short to Messi and Escandell saves Araujo's tame header. The Uruguayan's getting lots of chances from set-pieces though.
23' Messi aims for the top right corner but Escandell tracks the shot well and dives the right way to keep it out! Granada survive Barca's quick corner as Araujo's header is blocked. This game surely won't stay goalless for long at this rate.
22' Montoro catches Messi with a late challenge just outside the box. It's not pretty but there won't be a card. Messi gets up quickly to take the resulting free-kick.
20' Chance for Granada! The hosts' target man Soldado does well to take down a direct pass and hold it up to the left of Barca's penalty area. Soldado spots Puertas darting in from deep and crosses but Puertas heads wide! That was a decent opportunity.
18' Barca pass around the edge of Granada's box but the attack comes to nothing. Granada are starting to settle after that nervy start.
16' Umtiti is fouled in his own half as he tries to pass out from the back. Barca clearly want to get on the scoresheet as quickly as possible.
14' Griezmann wins a free-kick down the left wing as he's brought down by Eteki. Granada can barely get out of their half so far.
12' Messi slips Griezmann into the box and the Frenchman's shot deflects off Sanchez for a Barca corner. Granada clear it without any incident.
10' Barca have had 72 per cent of the ball already. They look in no mood to mess around as they did against Athletic in the Super Cup.
8' Messi's corner comes in and Araujo heads over. This has been a great first few minutes or so for Barca. Ronald Koeman will be pleased.
7' Granada are riding their luck already! Messi slaloms into the centre of the box and shoots straight at Escandell who spills it. It lands to Trincao who forces a fantastic fingertip save from Granada's goalkeeper from close range! It'll be a Barca corner.
5' It's been a lively start here with Barca getting all the opportunities. Trincao nods wide from Roberto's cross.
4' Barca get an early chance to take the lead! The visitors take the corner short to Trincao who whips a cross in from deep. Araujo gets ahead of everyone else and connects with an outstretched leg but Escandell is well-placed to save.
3' Barca start the game brightly with Griezmann having a shot blocked from the right of the box after Trincao slides him through. The visitors get their first corner of the match.
1' And we're underway!
The two sides are out on the pitch here in Granada. Granada are in their red, white and blue home kit. Barca are wearing their black away colours.

Since that result a few weeks ago Barca have gone from strength to strength, seeing off second-tier Rayo Vallecano to reach this stage. Granada's form has been patchier but they still managed to pump third-tier Navalcarnero 6-0. Barca's Super Cup defeat to Athletic Bilbao also shows they are still beatable.
When Granada and Barcelona met here just under a month ago in La Liga, Barca romped to a 4-0 victory with Antoine Griezmann and Lionel Messi both bagging braces. Now this pair meet again with a spot in the Copa del Rey semi-final at stake.
