LIVE: Huesca vs Atletico Madrid

The players are coming out onto the field. Kick-off is moments away.

Atletico were 3-0 winners on each occasion that the sides met during the 2018-19 season - Huesca's sole previous campaign in La Liga. They will be heavy favourites for another comfortable victory here, but the hosts have only been beaten twice at El Alcoraz in 2020.

The big team news coming out of Atletico's camp is that Luis Suarez makes his first start for the club today. Fresh from two goals and one assist in a 19-minute cameo on Sunday, the former Barcelona striker is one of five changes to the side that started the rout of Granada. Meanwhile, there are recalls for Thomas Partey, Marcos Llorente and Vitolo in midfield, along with Mario Hermoso in defence. Jan Oblak wears the captain's armband in the absence of Koke, who drops to the bench.

Huesca coach Michel makes two changes to the side that earned a creditable 1-1 draw at Valencia on Saturday. The experienced Mikel Rico replaces Juan Carlos in midfield, while there is a first start of the season for Borja Garcia, who takes Rafa Mir's place in the three-man attack alongside David Ferreiro and former Leicester City striker Shinji Okazaki.

SUBS: Ivo Grbic, Manu Sanchez, Nehuen Perez, Stefan Savic, Koke, Thomas Lemar, Hector Herrera, Yannick Carrasco, Angel Correa, Diego Costa, Victor Mollejo, Sergio Camello.

ATLETICO MADRID (4-4-2): Jan Oblak (captain); Kieran Trippier, Felipe, Mario Hermoso, Renan Lodi; Marcos Llorente, Thomas Partey, Saul, Vitolo; Luis Suarez, Joao Felix.

Atletico launched their domestic season with a thumping 6-1 victory over Granada on Sunday and will be aiming for more of the same here. Meanwhile, recently promoted Huesca are targeting their first win since returning to the Spanish top flight.
