LIVE: Lazio vs AC Milan

Milan coach Stefano Pioli has won both of his last two Serie A games against former club Lazio, as many wins as  he managed in his 13 previous clashes against this opponent in the competition (D4 L7).

Meanwhile, Milan manager Stefano Pioli makes three alterations following his team's disappointing 2-1 defeat against Sassuolo in their last game. Dalot, Meite and Leao are benched, with Hernandez, Bennacer and Mandzukic replacing them in the starting line-up. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is unavailable through injury.

Lazio boss Simone Inzaghi - who returns to the dugout for the first time after recovering from Covid-19 - makes just one change after his side were beaten 5-2 by Napoli last time out. Fares drops to the bench, with Lulic replacing him at left wing-back. Defender Luiz Felipe remains out as he continues to work his way back following ankle surgery, while midfielder Gonzalo Escalante is also out with a muscular issue.

Milan substitutes: Diogo Dalot, Pierre Kalulu Kyatengwa, Rafael Leao, Ciprian Tatarusanu, Brahim Diaz, Rade Krunic, Sandro Tonali, Samu Castillejo, Soualiho Meite, Jens Hauge, Alessio Romagnoli, Matteo Gabbia.

Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Gianluigi Donnarumma; Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie; Alexis Saelemaekers, Hakan Calhanoglu, Ante Rebic; Mario Mandzukic.

Lazio substitutes: Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, Marco Parolo, Andreas Pereira, Wesley Hoedt, Danilo Cataldi, Thomas Strakosha, Vedat Muriqi, Patric, Mateo Musacchio, Mohamed Fares, Marco Alia.

Lazio XI (3-5-2): Pepe Reina; Adam Marusic, Francesco Acerbi, Stefan Radu; Manuel Lazzari, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Luis Alberto, Senad Lulic; Joaquin Correa, Ciro Immobile.

Lazio and Milan are both involved in a fierce battle for Champions League qualification next season, with just two points separating the four clubs behind league leaders Inter. Lazio are eight points off the pace in sixth, but have two games in hand on all the teams above them apart from tonight's opponents Milan, who would move clear of the pack and into second with a victory.
