LIVE: Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

38' CHANCE! How did he miss? Lovely play down the right wing, with Mane finding Salah, who passes to Henderson and the Liverpool skipper spots the run of Thiago in the box, who meets his cross and powers a header towards goal. However, Guaita makes a great stop to deny him, but can't stop Jota from picking up the rebound, who should have a tap in from close range, but he somehow skies his effort high over the crossbar.

37' PENALTY SHOUT! Benteke tries to get on the end of a deep cross into the box, but Tsimikas steps across his path and he then falls into Van Dijk. The striker is appealing a penalty for the block by Tsimikas, but nothing is given.

35' Liverpool are increasing the intensity of their play now, they are camped inside the Palace half at the moment and are forcing the visitors to sit deep and soak up the pressure.

33' Good defending! Jota finds space on the edge of the box and fires an effort towards goal, but Ward slides in and makes a great block to send it high over the crossbar.

31' BLOCKED! LIverpool press forward and Palace fail to clear the ball in their box, with Salah sliding it across to Thiago who fires a shot at goal from around the penalty spot. However, Guehi gets across and makes a great block. The hosts recycle it, but Salah's volley after a Tsimikas cross from the left is easily gathered by Guaita.

30' We’re at the half an hour mark now and it remains goalless between Liverpool and Crystal Palace, but both teams have had chances to open the scoring early on.

28' Liverpool are on the longest current league unbeaten run in the top four tiers of English football, going 14 league games without defeat since a 1-0 home loss against Fulham in March (W11 D3).

26' CHANCE! Ayew slides the ball through to Benteke, who evades Van Dijk and races through on goal, but he has Konate for company and the centre-back does well to stay with him. Benteke manages to get an effort away at goal, but Konate gets a touch on it and sends it wide of the Liverpool goal. Good defending.

24' Ayew whips a terrific ball into the penalty area looking for Benteke who was unmarked in between the two Liverpool centre-backs. However, the striker made his run too early and the flag immediately goes up for offside.

23' Free-kick to Liverpool in a decent position out on the right wing, a good opportunity to whip the ball into the box and test the Palace defence. However, the visitors defend it well and clear the danger.

21' Liverpool have made a few changes from midweek, with none of the starting back four from Wednesday playing today. This is something that Palace could perhaps exploit.

19' Penalty shout! Zaha gets past Konate and sprints into the box after a ball in behind the Liverpool defence. The centre-back then seems to lean in makes contact with Zaha, who goes down and appeals for a penalty. However, the referee waves away his appeals and nothing is given.

18' It's quite open at the moment, with neither team able to control possession in midfield, with Palace currently enjoying a little spell on the ball. However, they haven't yet tested Alisson since the opening few minutes.

16' SAVE! Tsimikas lays the ball off to Mane on the overlap, who then delivers a deep cross into the box that finds Henderson at the far post. The Liverpool skipper volleys an effort towards goal, but Guaita gets across and makes a great save from close range to deny him.

15' The link up play between Mane and Tsimikas down the left wing has been very good so far, with the left-back constantly pressing high up the pitch and overlapping Mane, providing another option.

13' After winning three consecutive Premier League away games against Liverpool between 2014-15 and 2016-17, Crystal Palace have lost each of their last four visits to Anfield in the competition.

11' There is a good pace to the game so far, with Liverpool looking eager to push forward and create something in the final third, meanwhile Palace look very dangerous on the counter-attack at the other end.

9' Decent chance! Mane does well down the left wing and beats Ward, then finds Tsimikas, who sends it into the feet of Jota in the box and he fires a shot towards goal from a tight angle. However, he sends it way off target.

7' This is better from Liverpool, they are keeping the ball in midfield, but are yet to really get it into the final third and test the Palace defence.

5' That's two chances within the space of a minute for Palace, they've made a really bright start to the game and Liverpool need to kick on.

3' OFF THE POST! Palace go close again! A deep cross comes into the box and Benteke powers a header a header towards the bottom left corner of the net. However, it strikes the post and then hits a Palace man and bounces wide. It wouldn't have counted anyway as the flag goes up for offside.

2' CHANCE! Palace almost take the lead! Liverpool fail to deal with a free-kick and don't clear their lines, so Gallagher chips it back into the box, which Zaha sprints onto the end of and just gets to the ball ahead of Alisson, flicking it towards an empty net. However, he doesn't get enough pace on it and Alisson manages to tip it onto the post, before it bounces away.

1' We're under way!

The teams are out on the pitch and kick-off is just a few minutes away, stay tuned for all the match action!
