LIVE: Lyon vs PSG

37' Kadewere keeps a booming crossfield ball in play but is unable to do anything else with it. Mendes takes a tumble in the box. The referee is unmoved.

35' Toko Ekambi beats Diallo to a pass down the right, getting into the penalty area. The winger's cutback isn't great though and PSG hook it away. Cornet wins a free-kick as he's brought down by Kean.

34' PSG regain possession from kick-off and force another corner down their left this time. Mbappe stands still with the ball before passing it back to Diallo whose cross is headed clear.

30' PSG go up the other end and win a corner, the first of the game. Lyon manage to clear it. PSG will have another corner.

29' Depay takes the free-kick from deep but the referee blows his whistle due to pushing in PSG's penalty area. Depay tries again, almost finding Marcelo at the far post. It'll be PSG's ball.

28' Verratti's penalised for sliding in on Paqueta as Lyon break forward. The Italian gets a talking to from the referee.

26' Depay darts on the end of Paqueta's throughball down the right-hand channel. Kimpembe manages to just hold Depay off, allowing Navas to race in and smother the ball.

24' Mbappe takes a nudge in the back from Toko Ekambi and goes down in the penalty area. The referee waves at the World Cup winner to get up.

23' PSG are looking dangerous. Di Maria does a nice shimmy to confuse Denayer before blasting over from the right of the box.

22' Kadewere crosses low from the left but it's just in front of Depay. PSG break and Kean jinks inside to roll a tame shot at Lopes.

21' PSG are showing their experience, patiently passing the ball around while Lyon sit deep waiting to counter. PSG are used to playing in clutch games like these.

19' Toko Ekambi goes down on the right flank but doesn't get the free-kick. The winger is too eager to win the ball back for Lyon, stepping on Verratti's foot. The referee gives him a warning.

17' That's a crucial early goal for PSG who would be top as things stand. They're creating decent chances. All four of their shots have been inside the box so far.

13' Depay keeps the ball in play near the corner flag, dragging Marquinhos out of position. Depay eventually crosses in and Kadewere flicks it with his head towards Toko Ekambi who is just unable to reach it. That was close.

12' Kimpembe takes a whack in the face from Depay as the two challenge for an aerial ball. PSG get the free-kick.

11' Di Maria takes on Cornet near the corner flag but can't get past the Lyon left-back. Losing the ball, Di Maria elects to foul his man instead.

9' Depay earns a free-kick in the centre of the pitch as he's clipped by Pereira. No doubt Lyon will be hoping their captain can show his stuff here.

7' Lyon show they shouldn't be taken lightly themselves as they go straight upfield and Paqueta hits a shot at Navas from outside the area. Navas initially doesn't control it but snaffles it at the second attempt.

5' Mbappe powers down the left flank, whipping a low cross into the box first-time. It reaches Kean who hits it down the middle and Lopes makes a vital save with his feet! Di Maria's follow-up shot from outside the area rolls wide. What a start!

4' Diallo fails to keep a routine pass in play down the left, handing Lyon a throw-in.

2' PSG settle into the game, retaining possession of the ball. The reigning champions will want to attack this match with a return to top spot at stake.

1' And we're underway!

The two teams are out on the pitch in Lyon as fireworks go off in the sky above. Lyon are in their home white kit. PSG are in their odd hyper pink and psychic purple away kit.

Lyon have beaten PSG more often than any other team in the league since PSG's Qatari takeover in 2011/12. PSG haven't won any of their four games against the other top-four teams this season, while Lyon are unbeaten in their three so far. Do Lyon have the grit to beat PSG and go top now the pressure is on?

Lyon boss Rudi Garcia makes three changes to his team from their 1-1 draw away to Reims last time out. Corner, Caqueret and Kadewere start. There are five changes to Mauricio Pochettino's PSG from their 3-0 win over Lille in the Coupe de France. Kean starts up front. Neymar is on the bench.

Lyon are wobbling a little at home lately, losing two of their last five league games here after going unbeaten in their previous 13. Meanwhile, PSG have won their last three away games in Ligue 1 without conceding a goal. With the stakes at high as they are here, recent form might just go out the window.

Lille's shock 2-1 home loss to lowly Nimes earlier this weekend has blown the Ligue 1 title race wide open again. Both third-placed Lyon and second-placed PSG can go into the international break top of the table with a win here in what is looking like an intriguing three-way tussle for the title.
