Rodgers rung the changes during the week for the EFL Cup clash against Arsenal, but he has reverted back to the majority of the side that played Burnley for this afternoon's contest. Amartey is the only player to remain from midweek, starting in a back three for the first time for the Foxes in the Premier League under Rodgers alongside Soyuncu and Evans, who also returns to the fold after missing the opening two matches of the season. Wilfred Ndidi is out due to injury for three months.

City are without a number of first-team players, including Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus. It leaves Guardiola short on options in the final third, while youngsters Delap, Doyle and Palmer have been named on the bench. There are two changes from City's last Premier League match against Wolves as Garcia replaces John Stones and Mahrez spearheads the attack in place of Jesus.

Leicester suffered their first defeat of the campaign during the week in the EFL Cup against Arsenal to crash out of the competition. However, Brendan Rodgers' men have been in impressive form in the Premier League, winning their opening two matches. They saw off West Brom with ease on the opening day before putting four past Burnley in a dominant win at home last time out in the top flight. The Foxes will have to be at their best this afternoon to continue their run.

Manchester City kicked off their Premier League campaign with a convincing 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on the road. Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden and Gabriel Jesus delivered the three points for Pep Guardiola's men. City maintained their form during the week to see off a spirited Bournemouth side in the EFL Cup.
