LIVE: Osasuna vs Barcelona

64' Barcelona find themselves with a three-on-three on the break and Dembele plays a one-two with Griezmann before hitting a shot from the edge of the box straight into Hernandez. The visitors really should have ended up with a better opportunity there.

61' De Jong latches onto a throughball from Messi to get in behind the defence at a tight angle, but Sanchez gets back to block his shot away.

60' Calleri robs Busquets in a dangerous position, but Torres takes a heavy touch from his pass and the visitors clear.

58' Dest can't quite engineer enough space to shoot and his scruffy effort from 18 yards is blocked away for a corner. The resulting set-piece is easily cleared at the near post by Sanchez.

56' Osasuna have made a quiet start to the period and they'll need to carry more of a threat if they're to find a way back into this game - they've yet to muster a single second half shot.

54' Pedri's caressed throughball just misses the run of Messi and it trickles straight to Herrera.

52' Hernandez is down injured after blocking a vicious shot from Dembele, but it looks like should be able to continue.

50' Ruben Garcia's angled cross flashes agonisingly beyond the run of Barja inside the six-yard box.

48' Strong save by Herrera! Messi rifles a powerful effort from 25 yards towards the right corner, but Herrera safely gets behind it and parries it to safety!

Osasuna get the second half underway.

Griezmann has been quiet in attack for the visitors and unless he becomes more influential in the game, you'd expect the Frenchman to be replaced.

Alba's powerful strike gives Barcelona the lead at the break. This has been a game of few chances so far, but Barcelona made their opportunity count when Messi picked out the run of Alba and the defender smashes a shot beyond Herrera from close range. Osasuna had an immediate chance to equalise but Ruben Garcia was stopped by Ter Stegen after going through on goal. Nevertheless, the hosts are still in this game and it's poised finely for an exciting second 45.

45' + 1' HALF TIME: Osasuna 0-1 Barcelona

45' One minute of stoppage time is added on.

44' Messi dances towards the edge of the box, where his low shot clips off David Garcia and away for a corner that amounts to nothing.

42' The visitors have managed just two shots from inside the box in a tight half, but they'll be delighted to have clinically taken the lead.

40' Mingueza's pass down the line is too heavy and it wastefully races away for a goal kick.

38' Mingueza's powerful cross is misjudged by Griezmann and the hosts clear.

36' Osasuna have responded well to going behind and they're passing it intently around in the Barcelona half.

34' Brilliant save from Ter Stegen! Ruben Garcia takes a magnificent touch past Mingueza from Torro's diagonal pass and he finds himself clean through on goal! However, despite the midfielder hitting it firmly across goal, Ter Stegen is equal to the drive and he pushes it to safety!

32' Well, Barcelona need that breakthrough! The visitors had played some attractive football, but they were struggling to create any chances until a moment of inspiration from Messi - and a fine finish from Alba - changed that.

29' Messi's dizzy run is halted brilliantly on the edge of the box by Torro. Barcelona have found it difficult to cut through a resolute Osasuna defence so far.

27' Griezmann glances Alba's cross comfortably wide of the far post.

25' The hosts have started well in this game, but they know it'll be hard to maintain against a side in such strong form. Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 15 games in LaLiga, the second best current unbeaten run of any team in the top five European Leagues (Manchester City – GP19 W17 D2).

23' Nearly an own goal from Umtiti! The two Osasuna strikers combine well again as Calleri flicks Barja's cross straight into the leg of Umtiti and it ricochets narrowly past the near post!

21' Herrera is shown a red card after handling the ball outside his area, to stop Messi going around him. However, VAR quickly runs a check and it concludes that Messi was offside in the build-up, meaning that the red card is overturned!

19' Barja meets Torres' cross at the back post, but his connection is weak and it safely loops up for Ter Stegen to claim.

17' Messi drills a 20 yard shot that flicks off Hernandez and behind. Barcelona continue to press, but the resulting corner amounts to nothing.

15' Strong save from Ter Stegen! Calleri selflessly lays it off to Barja after a mazy run and the striker darts inside before curling an effort across goal from the edge of the box, that Ter Stegen acrobatically tips over!

13' Another intricate move from the visitors grinds to a halt as Alba's cut back is nodded away by Aridane.

11' Dest angles a cross towards Griezmann, but it's a little too high and runs away for a throw-in.

9' Calleri wriggles towards the byline, but his high cross is headed away at the back post by De Jong.

7' Barcelona have started with plenty of intent, but another attacking move breaks down as Dest's return pass, in a one-two with Messi, is intercepted by David Garcia.

5' Messi's clipped throughball looking for the run of Alba is intelligently cut out by Vidal.

3' Calleri attempts an audacious lob over the goalkeeper from 70 yards and - although it's on target - Ter Stegen backtracks to gather it comfortably.

1' Barcelona get the first half underway.

The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!

Messi has scored 19 goals in 23 LaLiga appearances this season and he could reach 20 goals in a record 13th consecutive campaign in the competition today.
