LIVE: PSG vs Clermont

17' Dossou gets into the penalty area and puts a low cross into the centre, which is repelled by Marquinhos. The ball falls to the edge of the 18-yard box for Gastien but his strike is also blocked, giving Clermont a throw-in deep in PSG’s half.

15' Berthomier gets two hands on Rafinha and drags him to the ground in midfield, preventing the winger from finding the necessary incisive pass. It’s a free-kick for PSG deep in midfield as Clermont break up the play well.

13' Dossou takes Diallo on, looking to round the centre-back but Diallo’s size and strength makes for easy work against the tricky winger, who is eased off the ball as it goes out for a goal-kick.

12' CLOSE! Mbappe scoops the free-kick cleverly over the top of the wall, finding Marquinhos free on the edge of the six-yard box. The captain does his best to put the awkward header on-target, but Desmas makes a great catch to keep the game level.

8' Rafinha and Mbappe work a short-corner routine to get the ball to Draxler on the edge of the penalty area, but despite a free hit, the winger sends his effort high over Desmas’ crossbar.

7' Diallo steps inside and sprays a lovely pass to switch the play from left to right, finding Hakimi just outside the penalty area. The right-back drives inside and looks to centre a pass for Mbappe, but it’s intercepted at the vital moment.

5' Mbappe goes on a mazy run, twisting and turning on the edge of the penalty area but a well-timed Hountondji step wins the ball back for the visitors.

3' PSG away at the Parc des Princes will no doubt be one of the toughest tests of the season for Clermont Foot, who will be without their star striker Mohamed Bayo. The absent talisman leads the team in both goals and assists to start the year, with three and two respectively.

1' Clermont Foot get the match underway from the kick-off!

Clermont make three changes to the XI that earned a 2-2 draw with Metz. Iglesias is dropped for Samed in midfield and Allevinah is preferred to Rashani on the wing, while Hamel is chosen to replace Mohamed Bayo at striker.

PSG make six changes from their 2-0 win away at Reims before the international break. It’s a first start for Donnarumma, who replaces Navas between the posts while Kimpembe replaces Kehrer at centre-back. Marco Verratti is not involved in the squad today and Wijnaldum is dropped to the bench, allowing Danilo and Herrera to start in midfield while in attack both Lionel Messi and Neymar are absent - giving chances to Rafinha and Draxler.

With 15 minutes to go before kick-off, let's take a look at how the two sides are lining up - starting with our hosts!

Clermont Foot have looked remarkable in their first four matches in Ligue 1, with Pascal Gastien managing to continue the good form that saw his side promoted from the second division in second place last year. Having never before played in the top division, Clermont have started with incredible tenacity - winning their first two matches by 2-0 score lines before earning draws with both Lyon and Metz.

PSG are looking to make it five wins in five matches to start their domestic campaign as they welcome Clermont to the Parc des Princes. Mauricio Pochettino’s side earned their first clean sheet of the year two weeks ago in their 2-0 victory over Reims, while maintaining their impressive record of scoring at least two in each league match.
