Kane scores a goal in each half to seal a 2-0 win for Spurs over Dinamo Zagreb. He opened the scoring 25 minutes in after Lamela's shot bounced back off the post and he was left with a tap-in into an empty net. His second came after Theophile-Catherine failed to clear Aurier's cross, giving it straight to the forward who slotted past Livakovic. Bale had a late chance to make it 3-0 but fired wide of the post from very close range.

90' + 4' GREAT CHANCE! Ristovski slides in to intercept Sissoko's pass but misses it and Bergwijn has a lot of space to run into down the left. He fizzes a dangerous low cross into the far post where Bale is running onto it, but he touches it just wide of the target from close range.
90' + 2' Dinamo have a free-kick on the right wing and Ivanusec swings a good cross into the crowd of players on the edge of the box. Lauritsen gets the first touch, but can't control it which gives Dier a chance to clear his lines.
89' Ademi has stayed down after the collision with Lucas which happened just before Ristovski's booking and he looks to be in a lot of pain with his knee. He receives treatment for it but has to be helped off the field by the medical team.
83' GOOD SAVE! Spurs have a free-kick in midfield and Bale is going to go for goal despite the distance. He gets the ball over the wall and it's dipping under the crossbar, but Livakovic gets a good punch on it at his near post.

48' CHANCE! Davies swings a good cross in from the left and Lamela chests it down at the far post, but can't get it out of his feet. Theophile-Catherine's touch takes it to Kane and his deflected shot loops over the bar just as the offside flag goes up against Lamela.

Mourinho will be pleased with his side's performance as they've controlled the game well after Dinamo's quick start. They haven't really tested the keeper though and he'll want to see better quality in the box. As for Dinamo, if they start the second half like they did the first and take their chances, they have a good chance of getting back into the game.
Kane's goal gives Spurs a 1-0 lead at half-time over Dinamo. It was good play by Lamela in the build-up to the goal as he drove into the box before taking on the shot from the penalty spot. It bounced off the post and Kane was left with a simple tap-in at the other side. At the other end, Orsic and Petkovic have both had shots on target saved comfortably by Lloris.

44' Alli backheels it to Son on the edge of the box and he switches play out to Aurier, who again is in space on the right. He takes it to the byline before whipping it into the area, but it's too high for Kane to reach.
42' Son's corner is punched away by the goalkeeper and Dinamo are trying to break quickly, but Spurs aren't giving them any space to run into. Majer does well to hold off Dier initially, but then wins a free-kick when Lamela catches him.
40' It's another sloppy pass in midfield, this time by Ristovski which gifts the ball to Spurs and Davies swings another good cross into the middle after a quick break. Livakovic gets fingertips to it to tip it over Kane's head and Aurier can't control it with his first touch.
38' Dinamo are being penned back in their own half again and this time, it's Jakic that's caught on the ball as Davies steps across him to nick it back. He plays it into Son ahead of him, but the forward's first touch lets him down and he can't keep it in play.
36' Petkovic had dropped deep to help out his defenders, but he's caught on the ball at the byline by Davies who just breezes away from him. He drills a cross into the box, but Lauritsen makes a block to put it out for a corner.
34' Dinamo have a free-kick in midfield and Majer floats a great cross over the top to pick out Petkovic. He tries to touch it past Lloris on the stretch but doesn't get the contact he needs so he sends it wide of the near post.

27' Spurs are keeping the pressure on Dinamo here and Kane plays a good cross into the far post from the left this time. He picks out Ndombele who goes for goal instead of heading it back across the box and it bounces wide of the target.
24' Dinamo just can't keep hold of the ball at the moment and they're sloppily giving it away when they do get out of their own half. Jakic has time to pick out a pass, but he slices at it and ends up playing it straight to Sissoko.
22' CHANCE! Leovac's cross is blocked by Aurier, but Dinamo keep hold of the ball with Orsic cushioning the ball down for Ivanusec on the edge of the box. He hits the shot first time, but leans back as he takes it and fires it over the bar.
20' Aurier is given a lot of space down the right again and he whips another good cross into the six-yard box. Lamela is sliding in to try and get a tap-in in the middle, but Livakovic clears it on the volley ahead of him.
19' Dinamo clear the initial free-kick into the box from Son, but Davies keeps it alive for the hosts. He touches it onto Sissoko who lifts a cross into the box, but it's too high for Lamela in the middle and it bounces straight out of play.

9' Kane has drifted out to the right to get on the ball and he takes it past Ademi before whipping in a cross towards Son's run at the far post. It takes a big deflection off Theophile-Catherine and he's lucky as it sails just over the bar.
7' It's better from Spurs now as they're patiently playing out from the back and Davies plays a good throughball into Son. He turns away from Ristovski but then runs into trouble in Lauritsen before he can pick out a pass to Kane.
5' Ndombele switches play out to Son on the left with a great pass and he gets his head up before floating a cross into the far post. It's just over Alli's head and nobody is following in behind him, so it bounces just wide of the target.
3' The visitors are causing Spurs some real problems early on as they push forward again. Petkovic turns away from Sissoko and he is making a good run into the box, but Sanchez gets across to intercept it.
1' Dinamo have started very brightly and Ndombele sloppily gives the ball away to Orsic. Aurier was out of position, so the forward had a free run at goal, but he couldn't get any power behind his shot and it's a comfortable save for Lloris.
