If we look at the Premier League table we’ll see that Tottenham are still in the title race despite their 2:1 lost at Burnley. Liverpool are on the mission to keep their lead, while Arsenal are presented with the opportunity to strengthen their position for a top 4 finish.
Cardiff City vs Everton
I really wish Cardiff City to survive in the Premier League. They are very tough team who does it much better than others who have more resources. Everton on the contrary are quite unimpressive considering the money they have spent on players.
Kenneth Zohore could get his first start since September 2018 , as Ourmar Niasse’ isn’t available to play against Everton. Callum Paterson is expected to play in the center. Aron Gunnarsson could return for Cardiff, but Lee Peltier and Bobby Reid need to be assessed well as Victor Camarasa.
Phil Jagielka and Leighton Baines are available for Everton squad and have. Yerry Mina is sidelined with a foot problem, while Kurt Zouma serves a one-match suspension.
Cardiff City to win 2:1
Huddersfield Town vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Huddersfield probably need to give game time to some of their young players who would be expected to pay more central role in the clubs next years campaign in the EFL Championship. Wolves have no new injury concerns. They are team that plays for each and every point and I expect them to win.
Alex Pritchard is back for Huddersfield. The Terries hope to have Erik Durm available. Adama Diakhaby, Isaac Mbenza adn Danny Williamswill are sidelined.
Wolves to win: 0:3
Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Leicester City are about to make a huge mistake by appointing Brendan Rogers as next manager, so does Rogers. Driven by ambition, the former Swansea and Liverpool manager would be leaving the comfortable position as Celtic manager. He has probably not concerned with the fact that the Leicester manager don’t stay for a long time in charge of the club.
Brighton need 3 points to distance themselves from the relegation zone. They re only 3 points ahead of the 18th place Southampton and a loss at King Power Stadium is a huge risk for them. The seagulls have a game in hand, but they need to get a point at Leicester.
The Leicester caretaker managerial team has a fully-fit squad to choose from. Glenn Murray and Lewis Dunk are back for Brighton. Solly March, Jurgen Locadia and Jose Izquierdo are also available for selection. Leon Balogun will miss out.
Draw: 1:1
Newcastle United vs Burnley
It looks like that Newcastle and Burnley will keep their Premier League places. Burnley are in a good moment as they have just won 2:1 at home against Tottenham and will be looking to get at least a point at St. James’s Park.
Burnley have no new injury worries or suspended players ahead of their visit to Newcastler. Steven Defour and Aaron Lennon remain out for them, however.
Rafael Benitez cannot rely on Rob Elliot and Ciaran Clark, but has all other players available for selection. Federico Fernandez, Jonjo Shelvey, Mohamed Diame and Yoshinori Muto are available to play. The new signing Miguel Almiron is expected to start the game.
Newcastle to win: 2:1
Arsenal vs AFC Bournemouth
Alex Iwobi and Stephan Lichtsteiner could be left out of the Arsenal’s match day squad against Bournemouth. Both came off injured on Sunday against Southampton. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is available for selection, while as Danny Welbeck, Hector Bellerin and Rob Holding are injured.
Jefferson Lerma will the Bournemouth’s trip to Emirates stadium. Steve Cook, Junior Stanislas, David Brooks, Callum Wilson, Simon Francis and Lewis Cook aren’t available for the Cherries.
Bournemouth are a very good team who deserves respect and I don’t think that it will be an easy game for Arsenal. Still, the Gunners are in form and it looks to me that they will record another win.
Arsenal to win: 2:0
Southampton vs Fulham
This is the game that Southampton must win. Fulham’s chances to survive in the Premier League aren’t good, while the Saints the enough points to give a proper fight to Newcastle, Brighton and Cardiff City for the 17th place.
Southampton to win: 2:1
Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur
Both teams need to win 3 points and I’m sure that both Maurizio Sarri and Mauricio Pochettino aren’t very happy that their teams to play one against another.
Emerson Palmieri has been given few starts on a position which has been long occupied by Marcos Alonso. However Alonso might start as Chelsea players didn’t have a lot of time to rest after paying 120 minutes in the League Cup final on Sunday.
Tottenham are still without Dele Alli and Eric Dier, but their boss Mauricio Pochettino has no other concerns for his team’s short trip to Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham are only 6 points behind the league leaders Liverpool and in theory they are still in the title race. However, losses like the one against Burnley are unimaginable for a team that wants to win the league. Psychologically Spurs look a little bit better than Chelsea, but I go for a draw here.
Draw: 2:2
Crystal Palace vs Manchester United
Manchester untied have played a good football against Liverpool at Old Trafford and had two very good chances to score. You don’t expect more from a team who’s in development under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Crystal Palace haven’t lost a game since their visit to Liverpool on 19th of January. They are capable of either drawing on winning against any team in the league this season, but I think that Manchester United will find a way to get 3 points at Selhurst Park.
Manchester United to win: 1:2
Liverpool vs Watford
Liverpool’s from three Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Sarah look a bitt toothless at the second stage of the season. It looks like they have difficulties to finds spaces between the oppositions’ lines and their game has become predictable.
For now Jurgen Klopp has somehow succeeded to manage his team and to keep Liverpool on top of the table. This game against Watford is a must win one for the Reds, however. They don’t have points to loose at this time.
Watford have won two consecutive game on the road – one in the FA Cup and another in the Premier League by 1:5 against Cardiff City. They have a really good team who can play on the counter attacks and Liverpool should feel relieved after this fixture if they have won it.
Liverpool to win: 2:1
Manchester City vs West Ham United
Does someone believe that the Manuel Pellegrini will lead West Ham to a draw or to a win at Etihad, where he has won the Premier League in season 2013/14. He has complained about referees after his side drew against Liverpool at London Stadium in the beginning of February. However, back in November when Man City have scored two goals from offsides, something that Pep Guardiola admitted after the game, Pellegrini didn’t say a word.
I’m sure that West ham will give it a try against a team who player 120 minutes in the League Cup final on Sunday, but City have the quality to win the game.
Manchester City to win: 2:1
